VELA

VELA is a freestanding bioclimatic pergola built for exposed, view-first locations — a clifftop, a hillside, anywhere the outlook is the whole point. The matte anthracite aluminium frame is powder-coated to withstand sun, salt air and wind for years without repainting, while integrated zip-screen side panels drop down at the touch of a button to cut glare, block coastal wind and add privacy — then retract fully to hand the view back.

The adjustable louvred roof controls light and shade through the day and closes against rain, with water channelled discreetly through the frame. Slim integrated LED lighting extends the evening long after the sun sets over the water.

Freestanding on four posts, VELA sits wherever the view is best — over a deck, on a terrace, at the edge of the garden. Every unit is made to measure: dimensions, frame colour, screen fabric and add-ons like heating or app control are all specified to your space.
